Small Craft Electrics is a mobile marine electrical and electronics service that specialises in all areas of marine electrics and electronics systems.

Proprietor Robin has been an electronics technician for over 40 years and has covered a vast area in electronics.

Robin did his trade apprenticeship in London as an Electronics technician and spent his first years in the entertainment business, Yes I saw those great years of rock and roll. Since moving to Australia some 30+ years ago I continued my association within the entertainment business by working for Channel 9 Brisbane and then switching over to IT. In 2002 circumstances changed and I found a niche in the marine industry firstly working for Brava Marine wiring up 11 metre catamarans and then moving into the luxury yacht market where I was part of a team at Cervina Marine Electrical who subcontracted us out to Warren Yachts, a local shipbuilder on Brisbane River. Typical craft were 26 and 36 metre monohull fiberglass yachts in the 10’s of millions. All work done was to Lloyd’s specifications. Finally moving on to MET services who again contracted me out to Aluminum Boats Australia who made 25 metre aluminum catamarans for the commercial market. So in 2008 Small Craft Electrics was born and continues to blossom. As you can see I have got a vast plethora of experience which I gladly give to my clients.
